For those of you interested in this sort of thing, the first episode of the CBC Radio series The Wire, a wide-ranging 2005 documentary about the impact of electricity on music which includes interviews with people like Steve Reich and Karlheinz Stockhausen (since deceased), is temporarily available online as part of the podcast And the Winner Is…, which rebroadcasts CBC content recognized in various international competitions.
